On October 29th we had a great turnout for our first stone wall repair session of the season at Hawkins' Preserve. The SLOBs worked alongside Land Trust member Haik Kavookjian, who instructed boys and parents and guided work on the wall. Achievements on Saturday included the removal of a stump, the sorting of rocks, the clearing of a walkable pathway along the wall, and the reconstruction of sections of stone wall. It was a productive event, and we look forward to partnering with the Land Trust again on Sunday, November 13!
