Volunteer Instructions
Member Accounts
Each member needs a separate Track It Forward account which is linked to the other members in your family.

Login information:
User Name: email address
Password: email address (*case sensitive, can be changed once you have logged in)
If you would like to add a Second Parent to sign up for volunteer events, please register this parent for a new account and link to your family using the instructions to How to Register for a Track It Forward Account.

New SLOBs members: After signing up for SLOBs, New Members need to register for a Track It Forward account (see instructions below).

How to REGISTER for a Track it Forward Account *NEW MEMBERS ONLY
1. From the SLOBs website menu, select the Volunteer tab > Volunteer Event Calendar
2. In the Track It Forward window, select Log Hours
3. Select Click here to register
4. In the Register to Log Hours window, fill out all of the required fields and then click Sign Up
NOTE: Students and Parents each need to create a separate account to track Volunteer Hours. Family Accounts are linked by adding the same "Family Account LAST Name" in the last step.
5. Once you are registered successfully, you will automatically be logged in.
How to LOG IN to Track it Forward
1. From the SLOBs website menu, select the Volunteer tab > Volunteer Event Calendar
2. In the Track It Forward window, select Log Hours
3. In the Sign in to Log Hours window, enter your Email and Password.

For 2018-19 members, your initial password is your email address (case sensitive). You may change your password after your initial login.

4. Click the Sign In button.
5. You should only have to sign in your first time (unless you sign out)
How to SIGN UP for a Volunteer Event
1. From the SLOBs website menu, select the Volunteer tab > Volunteer Event Calendar
2. In the Track It Forward window, select Event Sign-ups
This calendar has two tabs: Upcoming Events (calendar view) and Past Events (list view).
3. Shift Availability: Per the legend on top of the calendar, events will be highlighted in

Blue if shifts are available

Green if you've RSVP'd for a shift already

Grey if all shifts are full
4. For specific shift details and availability, click on the actual event in the calendar. You will see all shifts listed, time, details, number of slots open, and the orange button to sign up.
5. To Sign Yourself Up For a Shift:

When you are in the event details and find a shift that you would like to volunteer for, click the orange Sign up button.

If you are logged in, a pop-up box will appear where you can send a message to the organizer (optional) and then click Sign Up. The pop-up box will then disappear, and the Sign Up button will be replaced with Confirmed.

(If you are not logged in, you will be prompted to sign in.
6. To Sign Up a Member of your Family:

Click the orange Sign up button.

In the pop-up box, click Choose an existing volunteer. In the Select Volunteer box, click on the right arrow to select from a list of family members and then click Sign Up. The pop-up box will then disappear, and the Sign Up button will be replaced with Confirmed.

If your family member's name does not appear in the drop down menu, they need to (1) Register for a Volunteer Account and (2) add the same last name in the "Family Account LAST Name" entry on the registration form.
How to CANCEL YOUR SIGNUP from a Volunteer Event
1. Go to the Event Sign-ups Calendar.
2. Click on your event to open it. (Hint: All of your RSVP'd events are highlighted in green).
3. Click on the "+" sign next to your shift, then click on the red X next to your name.
4. In the pop-up window, click Confirm Cancellation. Your name will no longer show up for this shift, and you will receive an automated system email confirming your cancellation. Also, the Event Organizer will receive an email notifying them of the change.
HOURS VERIFICATION
AFTER EACH EVENT, LIAISONS WILL APPROVE HOURS FOR ALL MEMBERS WHO SIGNED UP AND PARTICIPATED IN THE VOLUNTEER EVENT OR DONATION DRIVE. MEMBERS WILL RECEIVE AN EMAIL CONFIRMATION WHEN THE HOURS ARE APPROVED.
How to CHECK YOUR PAST VOLUNTEER HOURS
There are multiple ways to see your volunteer hours.

When you initially log in to your dashboard, you can click on Log Hours to view your Timesheet that shows all your logged hours for the current school year. You may view past year hours by clicking the forward and back arrows...

You can also view your progress with Milestones.

You can also export a CSV file of all your hours to view and share. On your main dashboard, click on Export all hours.
